Freckleton Players is a local live theatre group that produces a range of shows, including plays, murder mysteries, variety shows, and pantomimes. Our mission is to bring high-quality live theatre to our community and provide opportunities for local actors, directors, and backstage crew to showcase their talents. We believe in the power of theatre to entertain, inspire, and bring people together. Join us for a night of laughter, drama, and unforgettable performances.

Who We Are

FRECKLETON PLAYERS (formerly HARLEQUINS)  is an amateur dramatic society based in Freckleton, Preston, Lancashire, UK and whose home performance area is The Memorial Hall, School Lane, Freckleton, though we are also seen all over the North West performing where requested. We were formed at an inaugural general meeting on 17th February 2007.

We currently have about 12 members of the society and, as most drama groups, we are always on the lookout for new members. If you are interested in joining us please pop along to one of our Sunday afternoon rehearsal sessions. These take place at 2.30pm almost every Sunday at The Village Hall on School Lane.

We are members of the National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA) and have won quite a few awards over the last few years.

All our productions have been well attended and appreciated by all those who were there, whether this is down to the renowned and popular Hot Pot Supper we have provided, or our acting skills, we don't know, but we hope it is a mixture of both.

Interested in joining us? We are always looking for new members to help us in all aspects of putting on a production. Call Chris/Wendy on 01772 880203 or drop us an email.
